It’s a unique natural wonder in the world. Iranja is the island that turns into two islands at low tide (small and large Iranja) connected by a fabulous, unearthly beauty snow-white sand bench.
On our day trip, you will admire and enjoy the snow-white coral sands of Iran and the supernatural beauty of its coastline. We will visit the jungle as well as the authentic fishing village of the island. You can enjoy snorkelling, diving, sunbathing or a short walk to the island’s lighthouse. The lucky ones can even see egg-laying sea turtles or just hatching turtles in the south of the island.
Our guests are not just tourists on Nosy Iranja, but guests of the local native fishing village. The locals provide us with our own palm hut for the entire stay. Also they prepare and serve a real, traditional Malagasy lunch for you.
